Welcome!

Hello, and Welcome to K Wapa!

We are a group of hobbyists who decided to share our creations with the world! All of the items in our shop are handmade, can be made to your custom specifications, and use reclaimed materials whenever possible.

Joanne, the driving force behind K Wapa is a mother and homemaker. She enjoys creating clever and useful items for ue around the home. Some of the things you can find in her shop are Kozy Warming Pads with aromatherapy oils, Upcycled Wine Bottle Hummingbird Feeders and Dog Raincoats.

Dean works full time as an Office Manager for a locally owned business in Mission, but in the evenings he really enjoys building furniture out of reclaimed wood. He finds great satisfaction in building something useful and attractive, and sharing it with others. All of his items are custom built, made to order. Dimensions, finishes and styles are all up to you.

Brandi recently returned to the Valley after a few years in Austin and then a few years in the Army. She is going to University in the fall, but in the meantime crafting sounds fun! Dog treats look pretty easy to make...

We are based in the Rio Grande Valley, specifically Mission, Texas. We aim to support our local economy by participating in as many craft shows and civic events as possible. Currently we have a regular table in Archer Park every First Friday in McAllen. Check out the calendar on this website for confirmed dates. If you know of an event that would be a good match for our crafts, please contact us and let us know!
